Broadcast samples
Through various courses and opportunities I have experienced both the performance and production side of broadcasting. This further allowed me to become familiar with the audio recording technology and develop an understanding of how to write and style broadcasting copy.
FACEBOOK LIVE
While working in the Admissions Office at Messiah College, I helped with our "Countdown to Move-in" Facebook Live informational series. While I was presented with a script and a general outline of important information, most of the performance was impromptu and personalized.

RADIO
Over the course of a month I worked with The Pulse, Messiah College's radio station for a class. Using Adobe Audition, I learned how to write my own scripts in proper format, record and edit sounds, overlap tracks, and embed external sources. I also was exposed to a variety of radio scripts, writing and recording station liners, advertisements, PSAs, and news updates.

TELEVISION
I had the opportunity to work with MC-77, Messiah College's television station. Through this process I had to research, write, and format my own scripts. Then, I was required to deliver a news update from the anchor desk as through a stand up in front of a green screen. While off camera, I gained experience by running the teleprompter and acting as a floor manager.
